Perhaps one of the most impactful construction projects of 2020, Pampanga’s OFW Hospital and Diagnostic Center celebrated the signing of the usufruct agreement on November 20, bringing it one step closer to actualization. This hospital, which will be dedicated to OFWs and their families, is the first of its kind and is expected to be completed in December 2021.

Located in San Fernando, Pampanga, the project is designed by Archion Architects, the leading architectural firms for medical facilities and constructed by Thaison Builder & Developer Inc, one of the premier hospital contractor in the country, while Bloomberry Cultural Foundations Inc. will fund the project and the 2 Hectare lot is donated by the province of Pampanga.

The hospital will occupy 2,500 square meters within the Pampanga Engineering Office Compound. The five-storey, 100-bed hospital will be equipped with the latest technology and facilities, such as operating rooms, dialysis center, cancer center, and an MRI.

In his speech spokesperson Harry Roque said “WHO had identified that Philippines in time of COVID has total 52,000 deficit of hospital beds to ensure the Health and safety of all Filipinos”

This project is being closely monitored by PRRD himself and wants completion the soonest time.
