A milestone in the history of the Calamba Medical Center, the CMC chapel’s construction has finally begun. The project broke ground on July 27, 2020, complying with all health guidelines during lockdown period.

The CMC compound consists of three medical towers, which house a cancer center and a CMC tent area. The chapel will be the latest addition to the CMC compound, catering to the spiritual needs of CMC’s many patients. The chapel will also function as a columbarium and a multi-purpose hall in order to host religious events for the hospital’s church-goers.

The CMC chapel is one of the accomplished goals of CMC president Dr. Jose Juliano, and one of his dream projects. It will serve as his legacy project for the CMC group.

The project is expected to finish by June 18, 2021.

TBDI was also contracted to construct the CMC compound, and for the chapel, TBDI will be the general contractor with partner consultants signed on for structural works and MEPF.
